Luck

A bewildering movie but thumping nevertheless...

Noted actors Kamal Hassan and Sarika's elder daughter Shruti Hassan makes her debut with this movie. To start with the story, well, it's something Bollywood has hardly seen before and the storyline does make you think. It arouses curiosity and keeps you at the edge of the seat. The concept of the film is unique and when Imran Khan is persuaded to bet on his luck , you are forced to think ' what does this mean?' As Sanjay Dutt says bettng is passe' , but betting on a man's luck is exciting and indeed it seems.

A bunch of good actors seems crowd but all of them fit their parts nevertheless. Shruti is ravishing, but needs some lessons in acting from her illustrious dad of course!!! If she polishes her acting skills, then we can safely speculate that Kareena Kapoor has some stiff competition from this new star-kid in the glamour department. Also remember the fact that Shruti is an established rock singer. 1 of her songs in this movie is already a chartbuster. Dialogues are peppy and so is the music by Salim Sulaiman. My personal favourite dialogue is: ' Teri tarah teri kismat bhi haraami hai'.

This movie is a one-time watch for sure and the shark sequence is definitely worth watching!!!
